* USPAP is a uniform set of report writing standards which are updated every 2 years through the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) a board under the Appraisal Foundation.

All Qualified personal property appraisers need to take the USPAP 2-year update course after their initial 15-hour USPAP introductory course. They must include the "USPAP Certification Statement" documenting that they have followed these unform standards in every written valuation report.

Upon completion of the USPAP Course, appraisers are given a "certificate" of completion.

Note: There is no such thing as a USPAP Certification other than the USPAP Certification Statement that is included in appraisal reports..
